Fridays Challenge

Oh so nearly back in the swing of things on the card making front - just the deadlines I'm having a tiny bit of trouble with!!

Over on the Daring Card Makers blog- This weeks dare was set by Lythan -
This week, my turn (Lythan) to choose the dare falls on my wedding anniversary. We've now been married so long we don't have a gift name associated as we are supposed to be saving up for Silver... Actually the first year we were married we forgot to buy cards for each other at all. So this year I thought I would help myself remember by having
Happy Anniversary
as the theme. It doesn't have to be Wedding Anniversary, it could be Anniversary of Adoption, moving house - whatever comes to mind!

I'm going through a black, pink and green faze at the moment - but nearly used up all the stash - so hopefully you might see a different theme coming through on the next cards !

Daring Cardmakers

Over on the Daring Card Makers blog this week the challenge was "BoyZone
and we'd like to see cards for Little Boys or Teenage Boys
(but not "Grown-Up" boys this time!)"

Its been a long time since I have contributed to the Daring Card Makers blog :( but the design team do a stirling job, producing wonderful, inspirational designs- week after week, which is fab- hopefully I will be joining in a bit more - once my designs get a little more up to scratch !

Anyway, Cameron's 14 birthday just around the corner- so I took the opportunity to show this - hopefully he wont find my new blog in the meantime !

More soon ,thanks for visiting,
Jx

Starting Over........just for me :)

Hi all, after a long long break from cardmaking, blogging I am finally happy to announce that my creative mojo has at last returned !

18 months ago, I closed my card making business down and no longer supplied retail shops with my cards- trying to work almost full time and card making on mass in the evening was too difficult to achieve. So I took a long break from cardmaking.

With the pressure of mass producing hand made cards off- and many months later - my love of card making has returned - and I began once to make the odd one off card for my family and friends - and rediscovered my love of creating special cards :)

Here's a couple I made the other day for family and friends:) (blush) lol.

Hopefully I will be back blogging and cardmaking on a regular basis.

off now to visit a few of my favourite fellow bloggers ;)
